Discover Traditional Food, Medicine and Culture

Join us for a limited-time, exclusive cultural journey that shares the traditional knowledge of the Kuku Yalanji people through native flora and fauna used for food (Mayi) and traditional healing (Medijin). Begin with a traditional Welcome Smoking Ceremony, inviting you onto Kuku Yalanji Country and acknowledging the land, ancestors, and stories that have sustained the people for thousands of generations. Following the ceremony, take part in a guided walk through the surrounding landscape to discover how plants are respectfully harvested, prepared, and used in daily life, both past and present. To complete your experience, enjoy freshly made traditional damper and locally infused bush tea, offering time to relax, reflect, and connect through conversation.
