Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre Facilities

The art gallery and shop showcase the art and crafts of the local Kuku Yalanji artists. The gallery liaises with local artists to ensure authentic work of the highest quality is on display and also for sale. This work develops and explores traditional and contemporary media and themes. Our artists and designers bring their knowledge of local traditional lore and culture to realise vibrant new designs in paint, prints, fabrics, wood and paper.

The gallery also stocks a range of gifts including jewellery, cards, small artefacts and clothing, designed by Indigenous artists.

The gift shop at the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre caters to all budgets so that every visitor can leave with a special keepsake. There is also a range of gifts designed and produced by the local Indigenous community. From postcards to artwork, the gift shop at the Centre is a great place to start or finish your trip.

Enjoy a taste of the rainforest at the gateway to the Gorge. The specially designed menu featuring some locally sourced produce infused with Indigenous bush ingredients offers everything from light snacks and refreshments through to delicious meals – guaranteed to satisfy any appetite or fuel up for exploring the Gorge.
